GraceLife Church partners with Grace Children' Home in India. The director of the home sent these descriptions of the children currently in the home.

Jammer's mother works as a maid and grandmother sells water bottles at railway station and couldn't support her family and the children. So the children were joined at GCH 4 years back.

    He comes from a Hindu family and is fatherless, his mother was married at a very young age and her husband was killed by his friends, she was sent out of her in-laws house, and couldn't take care of her two boys. So he was joined at GCH in 2013.

    Joshua's guardian is his grandmother who is a widow. His father went out of his home and remarried after he was born, his mother after getting to know this remarried too and left the child. They never came back after and he was left as an orphan with his grandmother. She couldn't take care of him and joined him at GCH in 2013.

    His mother passed away when he was 3 years old with lung infection. He comes from a street drummer's family, they are far below poverty line and his father couldn't even feed his children because of the lack of consistent work. This kid was joined at GCH in 2013.

    He comes from the Banjara tribal family and his parents couldn't provide enough resources for their children's education and even food. His mother wanted the child to grow up in Christian faith so the kid was joined at GCH in 2012.

    She is fatherless, her mom couldn't take proper care of her and her sibling. So she was joined in GCH in 2012.

    She is fatherless, her father was a pastor, one day when he was preaching in the church the mic he was holding got a short circuit so due to electric shock he passed away. Her mother couldn't take care of her two girls. Therefore Mahima, the younger girl, was joined at GCH in 2012.

    She is fatherless, her father passed away when she was 2 years old. She is a twin child. Her mother couldn't take care of her 3 children as she works as a maid. So this kid was joined at GCH in 2009, later she was a dropout in 2012 and rejoined in 2014.

    Suma is fatherless, she is left with her mother, grandmother, and an elder sister. Her mother couldn't provide for the needs of her girls as a daily wage worker so both the girls were joined in GCH in 2010.

    Shobha is fatherless, she is left with her mother, grandmother, and a younger sister. Her mother couldn't provide for the needs of her girls as a daily wage worker so both the girls were joined in GCH in 2010.

    Keerthana comes from a good Christian family, her father is a farmer and had loss in agriculture post which he was left with many debts, unable to repay them their whole family wanted to commit suicide. Getting to know this one of their church members brought them to Grace Children's Home. She and her younger sister Karunya joined GCH in 2010.

    Karunya comes from a good Christian family, her father is a farmer and had loss in agriculture post which he was left with many debts, unable to repay them their whole family wanted to commit suicide. Getting to know this, one of their church members brought them to Grace Children's Home. She and her elder sister Keerthana joined GCH in 2010.

    Her father left their home after three girls were born to him, and never returned home. Her mother being single worked at hospital as cleaner/servant, couldn't afford education and healthcare for her kids, so two of her children were joined in GCH in 2007.

    Sindhu comes from a converted family, her mother wanted to bring her up in Christian faith and dedicate her for God. Sindhu has a younger brother who is mentally challenged. She was joined in GCH in 2011.

    She is a complete orphan and never saw her parents. She grew up with her mother's sister who is a beggar and alcoholic. She couldn't take proper care of this girl and she was let out on the streets for begging. She used to live under a stair case. A Christian who knows about GCH, being concerned about the future of this little girl joined her in GCH in 2010.

    Her father left their home after three girls were born to him, and never returned home. Her mother being single worked at a hospital as a cleaner/servant, couldn't afford education and healthcare for her kids. So two of her children were joined in GCH in 2007.

    She is a fatherless child. Her father died in an accident when she was 1 year old. Her mother is a daily wage field so couldn't take care of her two daughters. She joined both Vimochana and her elder sister Shanthi in GCH. Vimochana joined in 2012.

    Her father died out of sickness (kidney failure) when she was 2 years old. She is the younger sister of Sagar who is also at GCH. She joined GCH in 2010.

    Her father left their home and remarried after she was born. Her mother has health problems and being a single mother she couldn't take care of her daughter. So Asresitha joined in GCH in 2007.

    She is a fatherless child. Her father died in an accident when she was 3.5 years old. Her mother is a daily wage field worker so couldn't take care of her two daughters. She joined both Shnthi and her younger sister Vimochana in GCH. Shanthi joined in 2011.

    Subhash comes from a poor family, his mother is bed ridden and couldn't take care of the child and his younger sister. His father is a daily wage worker and couldn't support the living of the entire family so Subhash was joined at GCH in 2014.

    Govardhan lost his parents when he was very young and has inherited the mental sickness from his maternal uncle. He stays with his old grandmother who is not in a position to support the child physically or mentally. She couldn't work as she is sick so she joined the kid in GCH in 2011. He is the only child at GCH who is unable to speak, yet is is let to school and has learned to say the alphabet and say the names of boys at GCH.

    He comes from Banjara tribal family. He was a very lean and looked pathetic when he was first brought to GCH by his father. His father told us that his mother passed away (while she was alive) and urged for admission explaining his inability to provide the needs of his child. He was joined at GCH in 2010. Later, even after learning that his mother is alive, considering their poor conditions, we let the child stay at GCH.

    His mother left him when he was an infant. His father is a drunkard and refuses to care for him. He stays with his grandmother, who couldn't support him financially. Hence the kid was joined in GCH in 2014.

    He is a motherless kid, his mother set herself ablaze and his father is imprisoned. So the child is left with his grandmother and aunt. Unable to provide for their needs, he and his younger brother Vinay were joined at GCH in 2014.

    He is a fatherless child. His mother works as a maid. He has an elder brother Anand and another elder brother who suffers with blood cancer. His grandmother is taking care of them and couldn't support the educational needs of the two kids. Hence he and Anand joined GCH in 2014.

    He is fatherless child. His mother works as a maid. He has a younger brother Vamshi and an elder brother who suffers with blood cancer. His grandmother is taking care of them and couldn't support the educational needs of the two kids. Hence he and Vamshi joined GCH in 2014.

    He has both parents, but this family is below poverty line. The child couldn't be provided with proper food and education. Hence the child was considered and taken into GCH in 2013.

    Her father is old and sick, and can't work, so her mother is working for daily wages and running the family. Having considered the struggle of the family, this child was taken into GCH in 2013.

    His father is an alcoholic addict, and the friends of his father killed his father. His mother is left with two kids of Karthik joined GCH in 2013.

    Ajay's father is old and sick and can't work, his mother is working to support the family, and he has two elder brothers. So he was joined in GCH in 2014.

    She comes from Banjara Tribal family, she has both parents. Considering their poverty, the child was given admission in GCH in 2011.

    He is a fatherless child, his mother is an HIV/AIDS patient, and she being sick, couldn't take care of her family. So the child was joined in GCH in 2014.
